I have ADD... really bad, as my friends know and I have a hard time staying with workouts that keep me interested. I grew up dancing and then went into figure skating and in college I started in pilates and yoga. In the beginning of my pregnancy I continued with yoga until I felt too fat and didn't want to do it anymore so I just went to walking (which in turn, made me go into labor 3 days early). I love working out but its hard to find the motivation and sometimes, time, to stick with it. When I had a gym membership to LA Fitness, I went at least 4 days a week until that fateful night a few years ago when God was watching over me (I know he always is) and I was all ready to go in my workout clothes and, sat down on the couch and I accidentally fell asleep. When I woke up, my phone was going off with calls and texts from friends and family ensuring my safety. I was then told that some sick, psychotic man went into my gym, pulled out 2 guns and killed several women. I will never know what could've been had I not fallen asleep. But that incident has never left me and I have not returned to the gym since.
I know that it is safe now, but I have since found other ways to workout outside of the gym. I recently returned to my dancing roots and have started this DVD that I had bought several years ago. It's the New York City Ballet workout and it's AMAZING! I always love how pilates made my body look and feel and it stems from ballet. A lot of classes integrate ballet into their routines now and for good reason. Have you ever seen a dancers body? I have several friends who are dancers and they look fantastic! I have a charity fashion show coming up in about 2 weeks and a movie I am working on starting next week and I am frantically trying to whip into shape quickly. Fortunately, I have athletic genes from my parents and it only takes a few workouts for me to see the difference in my body. But for everyone, it only takes one workout to make you feel 10 times better about yourself!
I am thinking about looking into classes around here at dance studios because I really love the art and I love the way it makes me feel. But for now, I'm sticking with this DVD because I can fit it into my schedule (and my budget) and I can't wait to see the difference it makes! Besides, who doesn't love a dancer's butt?

Steelers at Ravens: Unfortunate Recap
Here is my take on yesterday's... game?
http://aeryssports.com/steel-city-blitz/what-the-steelers-at-ravens/
Hopefully, this is a one-time deal that our boys will never let happen again. They fell apart, figured out their weak spots and this week will be picking up the pieces.
I can't even talk about this game anymore...
Until Roger Goodell unleashes his wrath on fining our players
